Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Reponsibilities

Cultivate strong team culture by injecting company’s vision, mission and core values into team discussions and decision making processes and behavioural standards
End to end social media campaigns development to increase brand awareness, engagement, reach to achieve overall business objectives
Develop social media contents to suit the brands and needs of the company
Be the lead in creating and delivering social media campaigns for selected VIP clients
Ensure all campaign contents are created to the company’s standards and are shared through the relevant channels as scheduled or planned
Bring forwards latest social media trends to incorporate into relevant campaigns
Support the delivery of marketing campaigns by providing necessary compelling copy for websites, emails and other promotional materials
Grow online traffic by using efficient and effective SEO white hat techniques
Other ad-hoc projects as assigned by management

Requirements

Degree holder in Marketing Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Chinese Language or related disciplines is preferred
Strong sense on utilisation of technology in enhancing work efficiency
Advertising / Social Media Agency experience is an advantage, fresh graduate also will consider
High Cantonese fluency is a must and English proficiency is preferred
Excellent communicator and values teamwork
Self-starter, hunger for success, eager to learn and open to new ideas
Strong passion for the internet environment, result-oriented, proactive and independent
Strong sense of responsibility, well organised with exceptional problem-solving skill with a can-do attitude
Passion for writing and excellent writing skills in both English and Chinese.
Sense of attracting social media topics and headlines.
Immediate availability is highly preferred.
